A Weekend at Tilba Lake Camp - Central Tilba NSW
Who doesn’t like a weekend away?
Life gets busy, times passes fast; making the most of the weekends is an absolute must.
About 5 hours from Sydney and 3 hours from Canberra lies the small region of Tilba on the NSW South Coast, just past Narooma.
There are also loads of things to do in region including beaches, golf, fishing, mountain biking and options to visit Montague Island and lighthouse.
Tilba Lake Camp
With the popularity of tiny homes recently, we decided to stay at Tilba Lake Camp.
They have two tiny home accommodations setup and options for glamping tents also on the other side of the property.
Tiny houses have always fascinated me. It is incredible how much can fit inside a small space through clever design and architectural detail while still maintaining comfort.
We managed to book the Bonnie Pod, which was a nice well laid out space, loft style, enough for two.
Not to mention the beautiful views of the valley from the windows and deck.
Tilba Valley Winery
Who doesn’t like wine?
Tilba Valley Winery is only a 5 minute drive from the centre of town.
The turnoff takes you through a winding road until you end up in an open clearing deep in the valley.
The winery and cellar door is at the top of the hill, with beautiful views over the vines and lake.
Whether you prefer a white or a red there are plenty to taste, try and take away.
Tilba Lake Camp in Central Tilba is a great place to get away for a week or a weekend.
There is plenty around to do and see. Much more than we had time to do.
Overall a great place to stay, unwind and relax.
